The 2024 roadshow in Tianjin (corrected from the previous “Shandong” label) placed strong emphasis on practical networking and actionable project development within Korea–China environmental technology cooperation. The event was characterized not only by technology introduction, but also by concrete discussions on identifying real projects and defining execution procedures. On site, stakeholders recognized that sludge reduction is not limited to cost savings; it connects directly to carbon reduction targets, regulatory compliance, and resource recovery strategies. Accordingly, the key questions focused less on broad claims and more on reproducibility under real operating conditions and on how uncertainty can be reduced through data and process.

BLUEWIN’s presenter structured ELODE around field-verifiable data, prioritizing measurable indicators and decision-ready criteria over promotional messaging. Follow-up discussions addressed practical application scenarios based on sludge characteristics (organic/inorganic ratio, conductivity, viscosity and stickiness) and target DS, as well as how site variability can be diagnosed and reflected in design. Importantly, BLUEWIN clarified that project success depends on following a disciplined sequence: RFQ → site data collection → testing → customized design → delivery/commissioning. This approach enables validation not only of performance, but also of economics and operability, while minimizing the risks created by premature commitments.

Overall, Tianjin once again reinforced BLUEWIN’s core principle in the China market: trust is built through validation, not promises. The roadshow demonstrated that the most reliable way to move from interest to execution is to connect interest to a verifiable next step, and to build collaboration on proven results.
