IFAT Munich 2026, the world’s largest environmental technology exhibition, was a meaningful opportunity for BLUEWIN to meet global buyers, engineering companies, wastewater treatment specialists, and plant operators from around the world.
During the exhibition, we were able to clearly feel how quickly the sludge treatment market is changing.
Today, sludge treatment is no longer just about primary dewatering or final drying. Many visitors shared the same challenge: conventional dewatering alone is often not enough, while direct thermal drying can lead to high energy consumption and operating costs.
This is where secondary dewatering and volume reduction become essential.
BLUEWIN’s ELODE is an electro-osmosis-based secondary sludge dewatering and volume reduction system designed to be installed between primary mechanical dewatering and final drying. It helps reduce additional moisture and sludge volume, improving overall process efficiency and reducing the burden on downstream drying systems.
